"Makes fantastic rice in turbo! From 'Canilla' to aged basmati to whole grains, it does it just right. Just made Italian polenta and came out to perfection without cooking the ingredients. The olive oil, chicken base, cheese and parsley was all added at the end of cooking so they retain their nutrition. Kudos Cuckoo!!!"

Good rice cooker with a learning curve
"This rice cooker has a bit of a learning curve, but is super nice once you've figured it out. Definitely need to read the instructions! I didn't realize at first that it was repeating each option because they were, in fact, two different settings, and it took a minute to figure out how to switch the language from Korean to English. It cooks rice well though, which. . . what else can you ask for from a rice cooker? Cleaning is easy, just pop out the insert, however I have not figured out how to release the water catch thing on the back of it (could be credited to me bring scared of breaking it, though). 4 stars because it's taking me some time to figure out how to cook good longer grain rice in it, which is generally what I'm making. But it feels like super nice quality, and I am glad to have it. Would happily upgrade to 5 stars if anyone could explain to me what setting to use for good long grain (lol). The short grain rice though has been cooking perfectly!"

"I wasn't sure what to expect with this rice cooker, especially since I'd never used a rice stand alone rice cooker before. I seems to do a good job at perfectly cooking rice. We've tried Jasmine and Basmati rice and both turned out well cooked. I was worried the Basmati might come out mushy instead of separate grains, but it worked fine since the rice was well rinsed."

"This is a cuckoo electric rice cooker. Reminds me of something from the future. Has many settings . At first, it seemed overwhelming, but once you read through instructions, it unlocks all the features. Comes with machine , measuring cup,rice spoon , and instructions. You can pretty much take the whole thing apart if you want to do deep clean, which is nice. Has easy setting for certain rice."
