"Stainless steel is always a winner! It has been around a lot longer than any nonstick cookware. It's durable and takes a beating without compromise. I know it's not nonstick and isn't as convenient to clean, but I'll take that over nonstick anyday. Also, there are a few work-arounds with this pot. You can use parchment paper, stainless steel trivet, foil, separate stainless steel bowls. Since I bought my Cuckoo, it's been a non-stop favorite at home and it helps with preparing foods quickly and saves me a lot of time. I bought a stainless steel trivet and use it to steam sweet potatoes, reheat rice, and steam veggies and more. Sometimes, I add ingredients for porridge, and preset it to cook in several hours for dinner."
