Steamed Tofu for CR-HA0810FW Rice Cooker – CUCKOO America

Ingredients

  • Tofu : 1 block
  • Salt : a pinch
  • Seasoning Sauce 
    -Chili power : 1 tablespoon
    -Scallion : 1 stalk
    -Ginger : 1 tablespoon
    -Garlic : 1 tablespoon
    -Sesame seeds : a pinch
    -Ground chili : a little
    -Soy sauce : 3 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the tofu in half, then slice into 1cm thick pieces. Sprinkle with a bit of salt and let it sit to remove excess moisture.
  2. Rince and finely shared the scallion, ginger, and garlic. Place them in a bowl and add chili powder, sesame seeds, seame oil, and ground chili to make the seasoning sauce.
  3. Pour 2 cups (360ml) of water into the inner pot. Place the steaming rack inside, then neatly arrange the sliced tofu on the rack.
  4. Close the lid. Press White rice Turbo.
  5. When cooking is finished, carefully remove the steamed tofu and drizzle the seasoning sauce over it before serving.
