A well-maintained air purifier not only improves air quality but also extends the lifespan of your device, ensuring you and your family can breathe easier all season long.
When should you change your filter?
To determine when it is time to replace your HEPA filter, refer to the manual that came with your CUCKOO air purifier. Typical guidelines suggest changing it every 6 to 12 months, depending on how often you use the purifier and the air quality in your space. How to Clean
Make sure to set up in a clean and well-ventilated area in order to ensure dust does not spread throughout your home. Have a vacuum cleaner, a soft brush, and dry cloth on hand.
Step 1: Turn off and unplug your air purifier then open the casing following the instructions in the product’s manual. Carefully remove the filter making sure as to not shake or cause damage.
Step 2: Check the filter for any damage and assess the dirt/dust build up. After inspecting, determine if it is too worn or damaged. This will indicate if it is time to change the HEPA filter versus cleaning it.

Step 3: For permanent HEPA filters, a vacuum can be gently used to remove dust and debris. For non-washable HEPA filters, brushing off the dust gently with a soft brush will do the job! Please avoid using water as it could damage the filter.
However, in the case that your HEPA filter happiness to be washable, make sure it is completely dry before reinstalling it. Set it out to air dry naturally to prevent any future mold or damage. To know if your filter is washable, please refer to your product’s manual.
Step 4: Once the filter is clean and completely dry, reinsert it into the air purifier, making sure it’s properly aligned and securely in place. Close the casing, plug the unit back in—and just like that, you're back in business!
